Pandesal for Beginners

I've been missing pandesal for quite some time now and finally I was able to formulate a simple recipe for beginners like me. I have no educational background nor professional training when it comes to cooking or baking, that is why this recipe is made for people who are looking for simple recipe that is a sure and easy success. In this video you will see the complete step-by-step procedure.

Starter dough
- 160 ml warm water
- 7 grams yeast
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt

Main dough
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 160 ml warm milk
- 60 grams melted butter
- 1 egg

#extra: 1 tbsp flavorless oil ( i used canola oil),
flour for dusting
1/2 cup bread crumbs

Recipe yields 20 big pandesal, you can adjust it according to your size preference. This bread keeps its softness even when it has cooled down. It can also be stored in the freezer to prolong it's shelf life.

To reheat: Pre-heat oven to 100°C and put in pandesal for 15 minutes and it will be soft and warm just like a freshly baked one.

This is my very first video and I am working on learning how to make proper uploads.I

I am not a professional, I learned cooking and baking from trial and error. I just use ingredients that are available in my area here in Norway.
